SubjectYour IT support renewal

Hi Sarah,

Noticed you've grown to two offices this year. That's usually when IT support that worked for one site starts to creak.

We take over IT support for firms your size across the North West without any downtime. Worth a 15-minute call to compare notes?

[Name], Business Development

A prospect replies. We qualify them, then book the call straight into your calendar.
£0up front. No set-up fee, no retainer.
£250per qualified meeting during the pilot.
10meetings maximum in the pilot, so spend is capped.
Any timeyou can stop. No notice period.

Why this exists

Most firms know outbound works. Few have the time to do it properly.

Prospecting is the job that slips when delivery gets busy. Hiring for it is expensive, and agencies usually want months of fees before you see a single meeting.

The usual options

  • A sales hire means a full salary and months of ramp-up before results.
  • Lead-gen agencies tend to charge a monthly retainer whatever happens.
  • Doing it yourself gets pushed back every time a client needs you.

Shaw Introductions

  • We do all the work: research, writing, sending, replies and booking.
  • You pay per qualified meeting, so cost follows results.
  • You choose who the emails come from, and you approve who we contact and what we say.

Who we work with

Two sectors, so we can do them well.

Both have a high lifetime value per client, which is what makes paying per meeting worthwhile from the first one.

Managed IT providers

Meetings with the people who choose IT support

Owners, managing directors, operations and finance leads at SMEs, usually 10 to 250 staff, in the regions you cover.

  • New support and managed service contracts
  • Cyber security, Microsoft 365 and cloud projects
Recruitment agencies

Meetings with the people who hire

Hiring managers, HR and talent leads at companies hiring in the sectors and roles you place.

  • New client accounts and preferred supplier slots
  • Permanent, contract and retained work

Run a different B2B service firm with high-value clients? Get in touch and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit.

How it works

From first call to meetings in your diary.

Your part takes about an hour at the start, then a few minutes a week.

Agree the target

A short call to set the sectors, company sizes, regions and job titles you want, and what a good meeting looks like.

You approve the plan

We build a list of named decision-makers and draft the emails. You sign both off before anything is sent.

We run the outreach

Plain, personal emails at a careful volume of around 20 a day, sent the way you choose (see below). We handle every reply, including the no's.

Meetings get booked

Interested prospects are qualified and booked into your calendar, with a short note on who they are and why they replied.

How emails are sent

You choose who the emails come from.

Three options, none at extra cost. Whichever you pick, you approve every list and every message before it goes out.

Recommended

Our rep, on your domain

Emails come from a business development address on your domain, signed as your business development team. Replies land with your firm, and you don't spend any of your own time writing.

Most personal

Signed by your MD or owner

Emails go out signed by your owner or managing director. We write every one and you approve them, so it reads as a direct note from the top.

Most hands-off

From Shaw Introductions

We email from our own domain and introduce your firm. Nothing touches your systems, and we pass interested prospects straight to you.

Pricing

Start with a pilot. We carry the risk.

See the quality of the meetings before you commit to anything ongoing.

Pilot
£250per qualified meeting

For your first 10 meetings. Invoiced only after each meeting has taken place.

  • Nothing to pay up front, no set-up fee
  • Capped at 10 meetings, so you know your maximum spend
  • No-shows and meetings outside your criteria are free
  • Stop whenever you like

What counts as qualified

The person holds a role you agreed in advance, works at a business that matches your criteria, and turns up to the call. If any of those is missing, you don't pay.

After the pilot

If the meetings are good, we agree an ongoing arrangement based on the results you've seen. If not, you walk away having paid only for the meetings you had.

Who you'll deal with

"I would rather earn my fee meeting by meeting than ask you to trust a retainer."

Woody ShawFounder, Shaw Introductions

Shaw Introductions is run by Woody Shaw. Woody's cold email outreach already brings in new work every month for a London construction company. Shaw Introductions offers the same approach to IT providers and recruitment agencies.

You deal with one person who is accountable for the results. There are no account managers and no junior hand-offs.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Why pay per meeting rather than a monthly fee?

Because you've no reason to trust a new supplier yet. Paying per meeting means we only earn when you get something of value, and you can judge quality before committing to more.

Who do the emails come from?

You choose: our rep on your domain, signed as your business development team; your owner or MD, with us writing and you approving; or Shaw Introductions, introducing your firm. None costs extra, emails go out at a careful volume of around 20 a day, and you approve every list and message first. See the three options.

Who will you contact for me?

Only the businesses and job titles you approve. You see the list and the wording before anything goes out, and you can exclude existing clients, competitors or anyone else.

Will you work with my competitors?

We won't run outreach for two firms competing for the same clients in the same area at the same time.

How quickly will I see meetings?

Outreach usually starts within a week of our first call, once you've approved the list and the wording. Replies build over the following weeks, and we'll update you on progress every week.

Is this compliant with UK data rules?

We email people at their work addresses about services relevant to their role, under legitimate interests. Every email makes it easy to opt out, and anyone who does is removed straight away.
